We verify contact information across phone, text, and email, remove duplicates, and screen out fraudulent submissions. Each lead is scored for eligibility, with automatic filters for red flags, and high-value or unique matters receive an additional human review. Only after passing these checks is the case delivered to you with a concise brief and the potential client's consent to be contacted.
DearLegal makes it simple to refer cases to other attorneys in our network and to receive referrals yourself. If you come across a matter you cannot take, whether it is outside your practice area, in another state, or you simply do not have capacity, you can send it to another attorney, even off of our platform. Likewise, other attorneys can refer cases to you when you are the better fit. All referrals are tracked in one place, with secure potential client consent, clear agreements, and optional payment tracking so you know when a referral fee is due.

Yes. You can set filters for practice area and location. Each opportunity includes a full case brief before you commit to purchase. If a claimed case is unreachable, a duplicate, or does not meet our quality standards, you can request a credit or replacement.
